Christian Lorca

His international career was recently bolstered by winning the Third Prize at the 2026 Plovdiv State Opera International Competition in Bulgaria, an achievement that follows his First Prize at the Salta Symphony Orchestra International Competition in 2019.

Lorca has maintained a close and fruitful collaboration with the National Symphony Orchestra of Chile, leading programs of high technical and aesthetic complexity.

In Chile, 2025 marked a year of significant milestones, including his successful debuts with the USACH Classical Orchestra and the Maule Classical Orchestra. For the current season, Lorca will reach a major career landmark with his operatic debut at the Teatro Municipal de Santiago, conducting the production of Ch. Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette
